He famously made a living by delivery anonymous packages in his film, The Transporter.

But Jason Statham stepped out from behind the wheel as he enjoyed the Le Mans 24 hour car race on Saturday. 

The 48-year-old looked effortlessly cool for his French outing, as he highlighted his muscular physique in a form fitting black T-shirt and leather jacket.

Keeping things casual, the actor wore some dark jeans and he rounded off his ensemble with a pair of grey suede chelsea boots. 

Despite the rain, Jason managed to maintain his action hero status as he threw on a pair of aviator shades.

However, he couldn’t withstand the downpour for long and soon found shelter under a large umbrella.

Jason also found time to mingle with other Hollywood greats as he rubbed shoulders with Jackie Chan and Brad Pitt at the acclaimed event.

Jackie and Jason appeared to have a great time together as they chatted and giggled amongst the crowds.

The 62-year-old martial arts artist looked suitably sporty in a white zip-up jacket that was adorned with team logos.

And he completed his look with a pair of slouchy jeans that appeared to be emblazoned with his name across the thigh.  

Le Mans 24 Hours has been going strong since 1923 with Nick Tandy, Earl Bamber and Formula One driver Nico Hulkenberg emerging triumphant just last year.

Porsche driver Brendon Hartley was in the lead after the first three hours of racing at the 24 Hours Le Mans classic endurance race, where Hollywood actor Brad was the official starter.
