Selena Gomez wished her bestie Taylor Swift a happy birthday with a sweet Instagram post on Wednesday.

The Only Murders in the Building star, 31, shared an adorable snap on her story that saw Taylor — who turned 34 on Wednesday — giving her a kiss on the cheek. 

‘Happy birthday to the goddess that is @TaylorSwift,’ Selena wrote in a text overlay on the photo, adding, ‘I love you.’

Selena — who also stepped out with Taylor the night prior — was pictured looking at the camera in the photo, with a bright smile on her face. She wore a chic snakeskin coat, matching mini skirt, and black top.

Meanwhile the Bad Blood hitmaker held the iPhone camera with both of her hands while planting a kiss on her pal with her eyes closed.

Swift — whom Selena previously called her ‘only friend in the industry’ — looked cozy in a green sweater and houndstooth pattern mini skirt. 

Selena and Taylor have been friends for over a decade-and-a-half as they became close while dating two members of the Jonas Brothers in 2008. 

The gals already had a birthday celebration on Tuesday night.

They were seen stepping out together with actor Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh Sperry.

Swift appeared to have skipped Time Magazine’s Person of the Year gala — despite having scored the cover of the magazine’s Person of the Year issue — to celebrate her birthday a day early with her pals.

She effortlessly blended casual and chic styles with a striking leather trench coat as they visited the swanky members-only club Zero Bond.

Taylor had arrived in the Big Apple — where she keeps a penthouse — earlier in the day after departing Kansas City, Missouri.

She had previously been spending time with her NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Taylor’s apparent decision to skip the Time gala was shocking, as she was assumed to have flown back to New York City on Tuesday for the express purpose of attending the ceremony. 

But the hitmaker has long shown loyalty to her friends and members of her ‘squad,’ so she appeared to have chosen an intimate evening with Gomez and their pals over the high-profile event.

In October it was reported that Gomez has expressed concern about her BFF’s relationship with Kelce. The multihyphenate is said to be worried pal Taylor ‘is moving too fast’ with NFL star Travis.

A source for Page Six said that the former Disney star believes that Taylor’s behavior in this new relationship is a little odd considering her past.

The insider said: ‘Selena thinks Taylor going to games and galivanting through New York immediately after just meeting Travis is something that is very unlike her.’

‘Historically, Taylor’s always been super private about everything, and now with this [relationship], she’s so open about it that it’s just very odd for Selena.’

Taylor split with actor Joe Alwyn earlier this year as they both kept their relationship very private despite being together for several years.

The insider for Page Six claims that Selena is said to have been caught off guard to see that Taylor has been hanging out with Travis’s parents in the luxury box at his games just weeks after meeting her.

The source also claims that Selena thought Taylor holding hands with Travis in public was also a bit strange.

The insider also indicates that Selena has been invited to go to Travis’ games like some other members of her squad but she declined as she did not want to be part of the ‘media frenzy.’

The source also wanted to make clear that the two longtime gal pals are ‘not in a fight’ over the opinions.

The source told the publication: ‘Selena just doesn’t want to be part of the media frenzy because it’s really chaotic.

‘It didn’t come from a malicious place, and it’s not that she doesn’t like them together. She’s just concerned about the way it’s being navigated.’

Meanwhile days ago Selena was furiously defending her new man Benny Blanco as fans were quick to remind her that he’s ‘shaded’ her in the past.

Last Thursday, Gomez confirmed that she’s been dating the music producer, 35, for six months and called him ‘my absolute everything’ in an Instagram post.

Things quickly got heated between her and her fans in the comment section as they accused Benny of ‘not treating [her] well’ and disrespecting her in the past.
