On Thursday Selena Gomez, 21, looked like a grown-up woman in a 𝓈ℯ𝓍y black ensemble as she waved hello to dozens of onlookers outside the Late Show with David Letterman in New York City.

The singer – who cried for her fans the night before during her Stars Dance concert in Brooklyn – smiled as she signed autographs and was gifted with a bouquet of flowers.

Always friendly: On Wednesday the star tweeted to fans that she would ‘make it up if you can make it’ to Letterman after she was told during her Brooklyn concert that she couldn’t do meet and greets

The beauty was promoting her tour which will end on November 27 in St. Louis, Missouri and her new album Stars Dance.

On Thursday night she was reduced to tears when she was told that she could not pose for photos with fans at her concert. She let the tears stream down her face as she belted out the ballad Love Will Remember, which was widely believed to be written for her ex-love Justin Bieber.

But she insisted in a tweet that she was sad over not being able to meet her supporters. She promised to make it up to her well wishers the next day if they could make it to where The Late Show was taped.

She made it worth their while, happily greeting people on the street in a knockout black skirt and sweater number paired with a I Dream Of Jeannie-inspired hairstyle with a long braid, bright red lips and fancy black-and-gold pointy pumps.

Several times she posed with her hands on her hips and with her leg out, revealing just how high those slits went.

Earlier in the day the Shake Me Up singer had experienced a gaffe when she couldn’t hear through her microphone on The View. She was there to perform her single Slow Down. After fiddling with her hair then putting her hands in her pockets, she asked the audience when they had to wake up to be there. Host Jenny McCarthy ran to her side and then producers cut to a commercial.

When the show came back on, Selena gave a strained performance, even stopping once.

Hours later she showed up to the Late Show in green leather slacks, a white sleeveless T-shirt and clunky looking black shoes. Her hair was the same as it was from The View.
