Scarlett Johansson graced the red carpet this week in a chic, long-sleeved black wrap dress, patterned polka-dot sheer тιԍнтs and black pointed-toe heels. The Oscar nominee, 38, attended the God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards in New York City on October 16th, and spoke about her dedication to philanthropy. She also opened up about her own tumultuous upbringing.
During the night, the Asteroid City actress was bestowed with an honor for her work with the nonprofit organization. Johansson conveyed her heartfelt thanks during her speech, and took an opportunity to share more about her experience of working with God’s Love We Deliver. The charitable insтιтution caters to the dietary needs of individuals struggling with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other grave illnesses. 
To dazzle up her plunging, figure-hugging frock from Michael Kors even more, Johansson added shiny, dangly pendant earrings and chunky gold rings.

As for her glam, the mom of two wore her blonde tresses down, parted in the center and styled into elegant loose waves. For her makeup look, the Black Widow star went for a dramatic smokey eye with thick black liner, voluminous lashes and shimmering silver eyeshadow. She topped it all off with rosy blush and a glossy, baby pink pout.
Speaking to fellow attendees at the gathering, the Marriage Story alum said: “Throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to witness firsthand the power of philanthropy and activism, and the work of God’s Love We deliver is no exception.”
She added: “Their mission to alleviate hunger and provide nourishment encompᴀsses so much more than just physical sustenance. It’s about offering support, love, and a sense of dignity during life’s most challenging moments.”
The Outset skincare co-founder also opened up about her family facing financial hardships during her childhood, which often meant relying on food stamps. “As a child living in New York, my family was dependent on food stamps, H๏τ lunch programs, and government aid to support our household of four children. As someone who’s experienced food insecurity firsthand, I understand the devastating impact it has.”
Johansson continued, stressing that the organization “holds a special place in my heart” as she praised the hard work of volunteers. “The struggle to put food on the table can lead to immense hardship and despair and a loss of hope. But organizations like God’s Love We Deliver, offer a lifeline to those in need,” she said.
“They go beyond providing meals by connecting individuals with resources, creating community support networks, and advocating for long-term solutions to address systemic issues of poverty.”
