JACK Grealɪsh has opened up about the raɪd on hɪs mansɪon, sayɪng he has been left “devastated”.

“I can’t begin to explain how devastated I am over the burglary that took place at my home a few days ago,” Jack posted on Instagram.

Nothing matters more to me than keeping my family safe because they are the most important people in my life.

We have all gone through a terrible ordeal, and I am so thankful that no one was harmed.

“Over the past 12 months, I have experienced and accomplished so much, but to be very honest, I don’t feel like I should be celebrating the finest football year of my life right now.

“Those who carry out these heinous acts are unaware of the harm they do to people’s lives.

“I sincerely hope they are apprehended and prosecuted so that no other family has to endure what ours has.

“Thank you to everyone who has sent me a message and to my friends, teammates, and the club for their support.

“On a more upbeat note, I want to wish you and your family a happy 2024 and thank everyone for their support this past year.”

When the horrific incident happened on December 27, about eleven family members and Sasha Attwood, the girlfriend, were at home watching Grealish in action. They were all shocked.

Despite security and perimeter fencing surrounding Grealish’s £5.6 million mansion, crooks were able to get entry.

Fearing a hostage situation, law enforcement hurried to the location.

And shortly after to keep an eye on the region was a police aircraft.
