In a legal filing, Keke Palmer is seeking protection against her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson, and full custody of her eight-month-old son, Leodis Andrellton Jackson. alleging that her boyfriend was physically and emotionally abusive during their two-year relationship, Palmer filed a restraining order against him.

Amid such tumultuous times, an old video resurfaced from January 2019 when Keke Palmer appeared on The Steve Harvey Show. According to the video, Harvey was heard warning Palmer about her way of dating men who were not on her level. And now, as the actress filed for a restraining order against her abusive boyfriend, fans are discussing how Harvey’s warning came true.

In a recent turn of events, Keke Palmer has filed for a temporary restraining order against her former partner, Darius Jackson. Claiming how she was repeatedly abused during their relationship, the actress has also asked for full legal and physical custody of their 8-month-old son, Leodis Andrellton Jackson.

According to US Weekly, Keke Palmer has accused Darius Jackson of hitting her and “spewing profanities” about her in front of their son. She further added how Jackson mentally abused her by destroying her property and threatening to kill himself with a gun if she left him. The actress further alleged that she has security footage of her ex-boyfriend trespassing into her home.

Previously Darius Jackson drew negative attention towards himself after he publicly criticized Keke Palmer’s choice of clothing at Usher’s concert in July 2023. He wrote on X, “It’s the outfit tho.. You a mom” which irritated fans and prompted them to search for controversial past posts.
