Steve Harvey expressed gratitude to his wife Marjorie Harvey

Family Feud star Steve Harvey has a healthy and peaceful family life. However, there was once a time when the actor’s life was chaotic. He credits his wife, Marjorie Harvey, for his transformation and saving his life.

He shared with People about his personal life,

“The Lord saved my soul. Marjorie saved my life. You’ve got to be in a bad relationship to really understand what a great one is. Marjorie changed the way I existed. I’d never been in a healthy adult relationship. I’d never been loyal, I’d never been fully respected.”

There have been rumors about Marjorie Harvey cheating on her husband with his bodyguard, however, the host dismissed them at Invest Fest 2023 in Atlanta. He said,

“Before I get started, just let me say, I’m fine. Marjorie’s fine. I don’t know what y’all doing, but find something else to do ’cause we fine. Lord have mercy. Man. I ain’t got no time for rumors and gossip. God’s been good to me, I’m still shining.”

He has been married to Marjorie Harvey since 2007.

Steve Harvey’s ex-wife bashed the radio host for infidelity

Harvey’s second wife, Mary Shackelford, became popular on social media when she openly bashed him for infidelity. She said that she spoke out because she was sued by her ex-husband, in Texas. He had alleged that he was passed up on the chance to host an Oprah Winfrey-backed show because of her.

Mary Harvey said,

“When I try to move forward, I keep getting pulled back into a situation that I don’t want to be a part of.”

Mary Harvey posted three videos in which she talked about the birth of their son, Wynton, and her husband’s alleged infidelity with Marjorie Bridges. He married Marjorie Bridges in 2007. Mary talked about the time when she confronted Marjorie on the phone.

Mary Harvey said,

“It kind of felt like I had been shattered to pieces. Even knowing what I knew, I was not at that point to cut my losses. I love my family, I worked for my family, and my family was my support, my foundation. I wanted a family for my son, something I never had.”

Harvey opened up on the negative trials and experiences of his life on his daytime talk show.

“I decided since I was one of the few men on daytime television, I was going to be honest. I talk about marriage, my children, my faith. Especially about the mistakes I’ve made. I had to have all that happen in order to be this today.”

Steve Harvey had married Mary Harvey in 1996, and the duo divorced in 2005. He has been married to Marjorie Harvey since 2007.
