Unsure of just how many millions they might have cost, the down-to-earth star joked with E! Live from the Red Carpet host Ryan Seacrest that the jewels will be going back later that night, for fear of losing them.

‘I’m terrified something is going to happen and I’m just going to have to work at this jewellery company my entire life paying the debt,’ she joked.

Justin Bieber’s on-again/off-again girlfriend, Selena, looked ethereal in a cleavage-bearing, low-cut white gown.

Selena’s clinging V-cut frock featured torso-revealing cutouts on the side and back and she completed the look with heels and a metallic silver clutch.

Just like Taylor, the Heart Wants What It Wants hitmaker added to her ensemble with red lacquer on her fingernails and a swipe of pink lipstick as her dark locks were tied back into an elegant ponytail.

At a second Golden Globes after-party, what looked like a major security operation went into full swing, when Taylor needed the bathroom.

The singer was seated in a white banquet at the lavish bash hosted by The Weinstein Company and Netflix.

Taylor whispered something to an aide and ‘Operation Bathroom’ went into first gear.

Three burly guards made a pathway as another operative led the way to the luxury portable toilets located in a far corner of the marquee.

The guards waited outside as Taylor used the facilities.

Earlier, in what appeared to be a diplomatic move, Taylor left her banquet, guarded by security, to go visit J-Lo who was in residence a few seating blocks along.

They pecked cheeks,chatted for thirty seconds and Taylor was on the move back to her corner sofa.

J-Lo, with a heavy entourage, then upped and left. No one was hurt during the exercise.

Earlier on the red carpet, Lorde singled out her bestie Taylor and added to Ryan Seacrest how ‘wise’ she thought she was.

‘Taylor thinks I’m wise, but I think she’s wise,’ she explained.

Lorde was nominated for Best Original Song – Motion Picture, for her efforts on the Mockingjay Part 1 with track Yellow Flicker Beat but the award went to John Legend and Common’s collaboration Glory for the civil rights film Selma.
