Some fans think DJ Khaled lied when he claimed to have witnessed Birdman and Lil Wayne’s historic meeting in New Orleans many years ago.
On his most recent episode of Club Shay Shay, the We The Best mogul revealed to Shannon Sharpe that he collaborates with several A-list musicians since he knew them before they became well-known.
He said, “I was there when Lil Wayne met Birdman.” Lil Wayne used to frequent Odyssey Records in New Orleans, where I was a DJ. I got the proprietor of a record store to let me DJ while customers came in since I was so in love with it. Birdman and the others drove to the record store and took tapes out of the trunk. It was prior to their agreement.

They offered cassettes for sale. It was a B.G., as I recall. records businesses would frequently call and ask, “Is this really selling that much?” as well as juvenile cassettes.Yes, I replied.In five seconds, he would drop it off and sell it. It would be completely sold out. I want to showcase my paintings alongside the best artists. I’ve known them for a very long time. At the time, I was responsible for the majority of the well-known musicians we enjoy.
He went on, “We were grinding at the same time and developed this relationship when I was younger.” So I remember myself and Future before Future was Future, so when you see Ross, Wayne, or Future, that’s me. When I first started my career, I worked with greats, but they were also becoming greats. Do you me an “I was there”? I was there.

A few people had doubts. Khaled’s statements were described as “facts confirmed by Wayne” by one respondent, and “this facts tho.” by another. City people are aware of that.

Cash Mon ey signed B.G. and Wayne (then known as “Baby D”) in the early 1990s. formerly referred to as “Lil Doogie”) as the B.G.’z. B.G. subsequently took on the collective moniker. B.G. was on the group’s 1995 debut album True Story. Wayne at twelve and me at fourteen.
Birdman recalled having lived with B.G. and Wayne once. “B.G. was residing with me already,” he remarked. I received a B.G. from his mother.
