Pop quiz: did you know Speed turns 30 this year?

The thriller — starring Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves — debuted on June 10, 1994, taking movie-goers on a heart-pounding ride tinged with a little romance.

“I felt very comfortable with Keanu,” Bullock said recently in a joint interview with Reeves on the 50 MPH podcast, per Variety. “There was nothing that I couldn’t try or do or say that he wouldn’t have, I felt, fought for me to do or say or try, and that kind of trust is very rare with actors. Anytime I threw something his way, he swatted it right back and you just go, ‘Okay, there’s my partner.’ ”

That chemistry brought the two back together for 2006’s otherworldly romantic film The Lake House, giving fans another chance to see the stars together on screen — and on the red carpet. And the photos are just too great not to share.

1994

At the Hollywood premiere of their film Speed at Mann’s Chinese Theatre in 1994, Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves looked oh-so-’90s in the best possible way.

Two years later, the pair reunited at ShoWest ’96 in Las Vegas. Though a sequel, Speed 2, came out in 1997, Keanu Reeves was not a part of the film.

2006

When Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves did finally re-team on screen in 2006’s The Lake House, they gave fans everything they wanted on a months-long press tour.

They presented together at the 2006 MTV Movie Awards that summer.

And even posed with a young Rihanna on the red carpet.

They went to the 2006 Oscars together.

And looked great, by the way.

They premiered the film in Los Angeles that June.

And had a blast that August as they accepted the award for “Choice Liplock” at the 2006 Teen Choice Awards in L.A.

So is more work together in their future? On the 50 MPH podcast, Bullock did tease, “Before I die, before I leave this planet, I do think that Keanu and I need to do something in front of the camera,” with her costar adding of a potential Speed 3, “I mean, you know — we’d freakin’ knock it out of the park.”
