Selena Gomez playfully chastised her pals Aaron Carpenter and Connar Franklin as she congratulated them on their recent engagement.
The actress, who has sparked speculation she is dating Nicola Peltz’s brother Brad Peltz, posted snaps chronicling her friendship with the couple as she celebrated their betrothal on Instagram account on Tuesday.
‘Congratulations to some of my favorite people on this earth. Took you guys long enough!’ the star, 30, captioned the post.
The post contained three images, starting with one of Selena sitting in between the duo and holding up a handwritten card that read ‘Losers! (They cheated).’
In another snap, Selena had her eyes closed as she embraced the couple from behind.
The final image of the post contained a black-and-white photo of just Aaron and Connar, cuddling on a couch.
Connar and Aaron, a singer and former Vine star, expressed their appreciation for Selena’s shout-out in the comments section.
‘i love you so much! you guys were the 2nd best surprise this week,’ Connar commented.
‘Love you so much,’ Aaron posted.

In terms of Selena’s own love life, the actress has sparked speculation she is dating none other than Brad Peltz, the brother of her close friend Nicola.
The Only Murders in the Building star has grown increasingly close with Nicola, 27, and her husband Brooklyn Beckham, 23, and jokingly branded them a ‘throuple’.
They were first spotted hanging out in November 2022 and recently jetted off to Mexico with a group of friends where they rang in the New Year. The actress also spent Thanksgiving with the couple, attending the festivities at their house where Brad, 33, was also present.
Brad is a graduate of Yale, CEO of Mymo, former ice hockey player, and son of billionaire businessman and investor Nelson Peltz.
Pop culture podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat has speculated Selena and Brad are dating along with many of the star’s fans.
