Alfie Haaland’s father Rasdal passed away quietly on Saturday.

“Our dear mother, mother-in-law, grandfather, grandfather, and great-grandfather Rasdal died peacefully today, aged 80,” stated Rasdal’s obituary.

According to the Norwegian publication Nettavisen, Rasdal died in a care home in Sivdaheimen.

Her funeral is scheduled for the following week.

Her passing occurred on the same day when Haaland defeated Everton in the Premier League with two braces.

It’s unclear at this time if the striker was told of her passing prior to or during the game.

In last night’s Champions League match, Haaland failed to score against Copenhagen.

He did dazzle the audience with a breathtaking effort at an acrobatic routine, leaping seven feet and six inches into the air.

He did post on social media following the game, but he just talked about football.

He added, “Halfway through ✔️ Let’s finish the work at home! 🙌🏻,” next to a picture of him working.

Following his suffering, supporters also showed their appreciation and sent words of support to Haaland:

It was reported by manager Pep Guardiola that Haaland’s body language against Everton in the first half was “not good.”

“These two objectives will greatly aid in his mental clearing,” he stated.
