Arriving at the renowned bееr garden and dance venue, Claerchen’s Ballhaus, in the afternoon for a night shoot, the actor’s long locks were pinned back with hair grips, revealing his face. Clad in a black T-shirt, he engaged in conversations with production staff and crew, some of whom wore face masks as per the city’s coronɑvirus guidelines. Keanu’s carefully groomed designer stubble added to his appearance.
His demeanor suggested contentment with his work, as he smiled while attending to his duties. Keanu is currently in Berlin filming John Wick 4, reprising his role as the titular character.
Following the release of the third film, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, in May 2019, work on the next installment commenced promptly. Director Chad Stahelski disclosed to Collider in April last year that the project aimed to exceed expectations set by its predecessors. The creative team had a well-developed storyline in mind, providing a clear direction for the upcoming feature.
Production for the fourth film is set to occur in Berlin and Paris, with additional filming locations in New York City and Japan. Initially considering shooting back-to-back for another sequel, plans for a fifth movie remain uncertain.
Originally slated for release this year, the global pɑndemic prompted a delay, with the fourth entry now scheduled for May 27, 2022.
