Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves have been a subject of speculation by fans since their iconic pairing in the 1994 Һit film Speed. 

However, despite fans’ hopes, the two Hollywood stars have maintained that they are just friends.

In a November 2021 interview with Esquire, Bullock hinted at the possibility of a romantic relationship with Reeves, stating that she believes they could have made it work if they were more than just co-stars. 

She mentioned that while they never dated, she thinks they could have “survived” as a couple, praising Reeves for his amicable nature and suggesting that they could have made it work. 

Both stars have denied ever hooking up off-screen, but Bullock has admitted to having a crush on Reeves during the filming of Speed.

Although both Bullock and Reeves have found love with other partners, they continue to cherish their friendship. 

Bullock, who divorced Jesse James in 2010, has been in a relationship with photographer Bryan Randall since 2015 and is a mother to two children.

 Reeves has been dating visual artist Alexandra Grant since 2018.

Despite never pursuing a romantic relationship, both stars have expressed admiration for each other’s talents and have hinted at the possibility of working together again in the future. 

Reeves described Bullock as a “wonderful artist and person” and expressed his desire to collaborate with her again. Bullock, too, believes they have good chemistry and even pitched the idea of a road trip comedy as their next project, jokingly calling it the “bookend of Speed.
