But despite all the negative press, Cruise has shown his support for his representative, even if he had to do it personally.

As the current Israel-Palestine Conflict rages in the Middle East, many people from across the globe have come to support one country while criticizing the other for every life that is being lost by attacks from both sides. And in that long list of people, comes prominent Hollywood talent agent Maha Dakhil, who recently posted about the death of thousands in Palestine, calling it a genocide.
This is very much a controversial topic, something that’s a big no-no in showbiz, which is why she is no longer a board member of the Creative Artists Agency. Despite all of this, her most prominent client Tom Cruise shows his support for her.

Recently, after the first attack by Hamas on October 7th on Isreal, Dakhil showed her support for Palestine with an Instagram post captioned “What’s more heartbreaking than witnessing genocide?Witnessing the denial that genocide is happening.” Soon after, it was reported by Variety that the CAA had formally relieved her from her duties as an executive of its motion pictures department while she remained in the agency as an agent.
Soon after, presumably on November 15th, it was reported that the Top Gun: Maverick star personally made a trip to her office, showing that he was in her support openly. This public show of assistance at such a hard time is sure to make ripples in the film industry in the coming days, with Cruise possibly becoming the topic of discussion for both negative and positive opinions like his agent.
